# New decisions, approved by the CSE: "Moldovagaz" was exempted from penalties. Environmental authorization, extended for the Rîbnița Metallurgical Plant

The decision was approved today, during the meeting of the Commission for Exceptional Situations, chaired by Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița.

SA "Moldovagaz" was exempted from contraventional liability and penalties for non-compliance with the legal provisions for the payment of import duties related to natural gas transported during the months of April - October 2022.

Until January 31, 2023, the validity period of the Environmental Authorization regarding waste management was extended and of the Authorization for the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere from fixed sources, issued for the SATD "Uzina Metalurgica Moldoveneasca".

Some adjustments have been made regarding the import of fuel oil, petroleum products, sawdust, waste and wood scraps for the manufacture of solid biofuels, in accordance with the new Combined Nomenclature of goods, which entered into force on January 1.
