The alliance aims to present a united front against potential pro-Russian or *"inauthentic pro-European"* forces in the 2025 parliamentary elections, with leaders expressing concern about jeopardising the country's EU aspirations.

*"The risk of pro-Russian forces or pseudo-Europeans winning the 2025 elections and halting the accession process is very real,"* declared Dinu Plîngău, president of the Dignity and Truth Platform, a founding member of the coalition.

Comprising the Dignity and Truth Platform, the Party of Change, and the League of Cities and Municipalities, the coalition emphasises its openness to further inclusion. *"We urge all forces committed to European integration to join us,"* stated Ștefan Gligor, leader of the Party of Change, underlining the alliance's broad appeal.

Moldova's EU candidacy received a significant boost in June 2022, but progress remains fraught with challenges like political instability and corruption. The coalition hopes to tackle these issues head-on by offering a unified force for positive change.

This move resonates with recent polls indicating a divided Moldovan political landscape, with pro-EU parties facing the challenge of maintaining dominance. Analysts suggest the coalition could solidify their position and offer a compelling alternative to President Maia Sandu's Party of Action and Solidarity.
