# Flash Flood Risk Today as Storms Hit Moldova

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening. There is a chance of hail, with localised heavy downpours possible (up to 15-35 millimetres of rain accumulation in short periods). Winds may gust up to 15-20 metres per second (approximately 34-45 miles per hour).

Areas prone to heavy rainfall are at risk of flash flooding.

A Heat Advisory is also in effect for southern regions, where high temperatures will reach up to 33°C (approximately 91°F).
