# Energocom announced the average purchase price of electricity in the first 10 days of 2025

> In the first 10 days of the year, a total of about 137 thousand MWh was purchased, at the weighted average price of 110.83 euros/MWh. This price is double the supply price of the Cuciurgan Power Plant (66 USD/MWh). According to Energocom, about 57.5% of the total quantity of energy was purchased based on bilateral contracts with companies in Romania and on OPCOM.

In the first 10 days of the year, a total of about 137 thousand MWh was purchased, at the weighted average price of 110.83 euros/MWh. This price is double the supply price of the Cuciurgan Power Plant (66 USD/MWh). Also, a quantity of 30.33% of the total energy was purchased from urban heating power plants, and from renewable sources - 12.16%.

We remind you that, in the first ten days of the year, the weighted average import price of electricity amounted to 118.49 euros/MWh. The most expensive energy was purchased on January 4 - 124.44 euros/MWh, and the cheapest - on January 1 - 110.72 euros/MWh.
