# Traffic on the Leova–Bumbata border crossing point temporarily suspended on Saturday 

> The activity of the Leova–Bumbata Border Crossing Point is temporarily suspended on Saturday, May 31, 2025, between 12:00 and 15:00. The measure is necessary to carry out technical works to check and consolidate the bridge.

The activity of the Leova–Bumbata Border Crossing Point is temporarily suspended on Saturday, May 31, 2025, between 12:00 and 15:00. The measure is necessary to carry out technical works to check and consolidate the bridge.

The authorities recommend that participants in cross-border traffic choose alternative routes in advance to avoid delays. Among the border points that can be used are: Cahul–Oancea, Leușeni–Albița and Giurgiulesti–Galați.

We note that following the recent rainfall, the water level in the Prut River has increased. In some sectors, the water level has increased by 10-30 centimeters.
