# “The Ukrainian people are fighting for regional security”: PM Munteanu condemns Russian aggression

> The Republic of Moldova reaffirms its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine while condemning Russian aggression against its neighbor. This statement was reiterated by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu during a meeting on Thursday, November 6, with the Ukrainian Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, Paun Rohovei.

The Republic of Moldova reaffirms its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine while condemning Russian aggression against its neighbor. This statement was reiterated by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu during a meeting on Thursday, November 6, with the Ukrainian Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, Paun Rohovei.

*"We stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian people who are fighting for humanity and regional security,"* declared Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu.

The two officials agreed that the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine will continue to collaborate, particularly in important areas such as energy, humanitarian aid, the economy, and infrastructure. 

Additionally, the authorities in Chisinau and Kiev will support one another in the process of European integration.

The Ukrainian diplomat congratulated the new government head on his inauguration, wishing him success in achieving the priorities set, particularly the main objective of the country’s European integration, a shared goal for both nations.

"The recent parliamentary elections showcased Moldovan citizens' desire to integrate into the European Union, demonstrating resilience against Russian challenges," stated the Ukrainian ambassador to Chisinau.
