Youth organisations in the Republic of Moldova can secure state grants of up to €29,800 (approx. 600,000 MDL) per project under the newly launched 2027 Grants Programme.

Funded by the Ministry of Education and Research and administered by the National Youth Agency, the public fund commands a total allocation of €0.65 million (approx. 13 million MDL). The competitive scheme is designed to enhance civic resilience, professional skills, and youth engagement across the country.

**Tiered funding across four national priorities**

Grants will support non-governmental youth organisations across four strategic directions: employment and career development, healthy and inclusive living, democratic participation and European integration, and cultural identity and environmental sustainability. Eligible domains include digital and STEAM literacy, media education, counteracting disinformation, community leadership, and international exchanges.

Financial allocations correspond directly to geographic scope. Local grassroots initiatives can receive up to 200,000 MDL, regional projects qualify for up to 400,000 MDL, while nationwide undertakings can obtain the maximum ceiling of 600,000 MDL.

**Application timeline and co-financing rules**

Participating organisations are required to contribute at least 20% in matching funds towards the total cost of their projects. Application files must be submitted digitally by 16 November at 17:00. Complete guidelines and application forms are available on the official portal of the National Youth Agency.

To assist applicants with compliance, the agency will host an online guidance session on 1 October at 14:00, outlining eligibility criteria and submission procedures. Registration for the seminar closes on 29 September. The annual mechanism supported 35 youth organisations during its previous funding cycle.
