# Mihai Popșoi visits Canada for talks with his counterpart and a speech at the "Pathways to Peace" conference

> Mihai Popșoi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, is paying a working visit to Canada on September 27–28. In Toronto, the head of Moldovan diplomacy will hold a meeting with his Canadian counterpart, Anita Anand.

Mihai Popșoi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, is paying a working visit to Canada on September 27–28. In Toronto, the head of Moldovan diplomacy will hold a meeting with his Canadian counterpart, Anita Anand.

The discussions will focus on the priorities of Moldova-Canada relations and the development of cooperation in areas of common interest, with an emphasis on economic and investment partnerships, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Chișinău. 

Also, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi will deliver a speech at the second Ministerial Conference dedicated to the return of Ukrainian children, detained civilians, and prisoners of war, under the theme *„Pathways to Peace”*. 

The event is hosted by Canada and jointly organized with Ukraine and Norway.

The visit's agenda also includes a meeting with members of the Moldovan community living in Canada.
