# Greece stun Klopp's Germany 1-0 in Nations League upset

Greece clinched a historic 1-0 victory over Germany in Augsburg on Sunday, handing manager Jurgen Klopp his first defeat in charge and securing their first-ever triumph against the four-time world champions.

**Dominance without cutting edge**

Germany controlled proceedings with roughly 75% possession on home turf, yet struggled to break through a resilient Greek defensive structure. The hosts were limited to a single significant chance throughout the contest as their attacking rhythm stalled.

Greece remained composed and capitalised on their decisive moment in the 75th minute. Midfielder Dimitrios Kourbelis struck a deflected low shot that beat goalkeeper Alexander Nübel, sealing a momentous victory for the visitors.

The result leaves Klopp without a win in his first two games as Germany boss, following a 1-1 draw against the Netherlands. In the same group, the Dutch secured a 2-1 win over Serbia.

**Portugal overcome Norway in Oslo**

Elsewhere in the UEFA Nations League, Portugal earned a 2-1 away victory against Norway in a clash that saw Cristiano Ronaldo start on the bench. 

João Félix opened the scoring for the visitors in the 17th minute before Erling Haaland equalised for Norway shortly after the interval. Portugal restored their lead in the 54th minute when Gonçalo Ramos intercepted an errant clearance from goalkeeper Ørjan Nyland and lobbed the stranded shot-stopper.

Ramos had another effort disallowed by the video assistant referee minutes later, but Roberto Martínez's side held on for the points. Meanwhile, Denmark secured a 2-0 home victory over Wales.
