A drone landed in the garden of a resident in Otaci, Ocnița District. Police were alerted to the discovery on Saturday, October 17, at around 3:40 p.m. No injuries or material damage were reported.

Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene and found drone fragments.

Following a preliminary examination, specialists determined that the device exhibits the characteristics of a professional quadcopter, featuring carbon-fiber structural elements and electronic components damaged by the impact with the ground.

According to the General Police Inspectorate, the device is used for monitoring purposes; it is battery-powered and contains no explosive payload.

Specialists continue to examine the fragments to determine the device's origin and the circumstances surrounding its crash.
