Emmanuel Macron confirmed his participation in the summit of the European Political Community in Bulboaca. Message of the President of France

The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, confirmed his participation in the second summit of the European Political Community (EPC), which will be held in the Republic of Moldova on June 1. The leader from Paris said in a video message that several important decisions will be made during this event.

"I am coming with a short message to tell you that on June 1st we will be in Moldova at the second Summit of the European Political Community. In Moldova we will discuss energy, migration, security, infrastructure, defense, geopolitics, because we share the same continent. A year ago I proposed the creation of the European Political Community, because I am sure that we need this forum to gather all the leaders, to give a new framework to our continent, to decide for ourselves and to build a stronger and more united Europe. On June 1st we will discuss all these topics, we will have very important meetings and I hope we will make important decisions for today, but also for our common future," said Emmanuel Macron.

Emmanuel Macron thanked President Maia Sandu for accepting the invitation to organize the second EPC summit in the Republic of Moldova. Hosting the event is a reconfirmation of the fact that our country is not alone and enjoys the support of external partners to preserve freedom and peace. We remind, the Community is a platform created at the initiative of the French president, with the aim of boosting cooperation between European countries in the face of unprecedented threats generated by Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
