President of Greece and the Prime Minister of Ireland announced their participation in the CPE Summit: We will discuss topics of crucial importance
The President of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, and the Prime Minister of Ireland, Leo Varadkar, announced that they will participate in the Summit of the European Political Community (EPC), where they will discuss strategic cooperation on the European continent and other topics of crucial importance. The officials also conveyed the message that "the Republic of Moldova is not alone".
"I can't wait to participate in the Political Community Summit in the Republic of Moldova to discuss topics of crucial importance for our European family. Greece is committed to cooperating closely with its neighbors and partners to address the challenges facing our continent. This year, we expanded national gas exports to Moldova to ensure its energy security. Our message is clear - Moldova is not alone", said the President of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou.
The Prime Minister of Ireland, Leo Varadkar, noted that holding the CPE Summit will be a vital opportunity for heads of state to discuss common challenges and, more importantly, how they can address them.
"I am looking forward to arriving at the European Political Community Summit in Moldova to discuss strategic cooperation on our continent. Our meeting in Chisinau will be a vital opportunity for us as leaders to discuss common challenges and, above all, to face them together. Moldova is part of our European family and, certainly, Moldova is not alone", said the Prime Minister of Ireland, Leo Varadkar.
We mention that the prime ministers of Denmark, Estonia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands also announced their participation in the Summit of the European Political Community, sending the message that "the Republic of Moldova is not alone".
Previously, the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, the Head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, and the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, came with similar messages.
We remind you that the Summit of the European Political Community will take place on June 1, in Bulboaca, and will bring together 50 officials for the first time, including state presidents, prime ministers and senior European officials.
