"Another difficult night for the capital," Kiev Mayor Vitali Klicko said on his Telegram channel.

Ukraine's capital was also subjected to drone strikes on Sunday. Then, 36 drones were shot down over Kiev.

In Monday's attack, Russia used a combination of Iranian-made Shahed drones and cruise missiles, the city's military administration announced.

Explosions were heard last night in various neighborhoods of Odessa, according to Unian.

Under air raid alert are the regions of Herson, Mikolaiv, Kirovograd, Cherkasy, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihov, Kiev and Donetsk, as well as Khitomir.

In Odessa, an Iranian "Shahed-131/136" drone strike hit a target of the port infrastructure, causing a fire.
