Meetings on the sidelines of the inauguration of the EU civilian mission. Nicu Popescu: This will contribute to increasing the resilience of the Republic of Moldova

Countering hybrid threats, disinformation and ensuring cyber security, crisis management, promoting and implementing concrete assistance projects, are the areas of action of the new Civilian Mission of the European Union in the Republic of Moldova, which will be inaugurated today in Chisinau.

The details were discussed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nicu Popescu, the managing director of the Civilian Planning and Conduct Capability (CPCC) within the EU Diplomatic Service, Stefano Tomat, and the head of the Mission, Cosmin Dinescu.

We remind that the new civilian mission of the European Union in the Republic of Moldova will be inaugurated by the High Representative of the EU for foreign affairs and security policy, Josep Borrell. He will officially hand over the new equipment provided by the EU to the armed forces of the Republic of Moldova.
