June 1st could be included in the list of non-working public holidays, provided by the Labor Code. The government approved a draft law that provides for this change.
Thus, parents will have more free time, from June 1, to celebrate Child Protection Day together with the family.
The project is to be approved by the Parliament.
Currently, in the Republic of Moldova there are 12 official holidays declared as days off for employees.
