The Ukrainian army shot down ten Iranian drones. A fragment damaged two buildings in Kiev
The Russian occupiers attacked the Ukrainian capital and the Kiev region on Wednesday morning with Iranian Shahed drones. According to the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Kliciko, the Ukrainian army shot down ten such drones. A fragment of a drone shot down by the Kyiv air defence system damaged two administrative buildings in the Shevchenkovskiy district of the Ukrainian capital, Rador reports with reference to RBC.

“In the capital area, the air defence forces shot down ten Shahed drones. According to preliminary information, a fragment of a drone damaged two administrative buildings in the Shevchenkovskiy district," reads a press release from the Kyiv Local Military Administration.
For now, there is no information about possible victims.
Earlier, Klichko reported an explosion in the Shevchenkovskiy district of Kyiv following an airstrike launched by the Russians on Wednesday morning. Oleksi Kuleba, the governor of the Kyiv region, also reported that air defence systems were activated in the region. The official also pointed out that the air raid alert continues.
