Nicu Popescu goes to Brussels and Stockholm. He will hold meetings, including with NATO's Deputy Secretary General
The acceleration of Moldova's accession process to the European Union will be promoted in Brussels and Stockholm, announces the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu. To this end, the official from Chisinau will visit the two countries from 6 to 8 June.
Tomorrow in Brussels, the Moldovan head of diplomacy will meet Mircea Geoană, NATO Deputy Secretary General, Gert Jan Koopman, Director General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and other European officials.
On Wednesday and Thursday, 7-8 June, Nicu Popescu will meet Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström, Minister for European Affairs Jessika Roswall and other Swedish officials in Stockholm.
The work programme also includes participation in the annual conference of the European Council for Foreign Affairs, the official said on his Telegram channel.
