Border Police bans 28 people from entering the Republic of Moldova

The General Inspectorate of the Border Police announces that during the day of June 7, it prohibited the entry into the Republic of Moldova for 28 people. In total, at the border crossing points, the flow of people constituted 52,294 crossings, a larger number being recorded on the way out of the Republic of Moldova - 28,275 people crossed the border.

"With reference to the crossing of the border by the citizens of Ukraine, a total number of 13,617 crossings were recorded, of which 6,812 - in the direction of entry into Moldova. Also, 2,303 were the crossings of Ukrainian minors", reads the statement of the Border Police.

The most requested were the border crossing points with Romania - 27,951 crossings, 15,392 crossings were reported at the Moldovan - Ukrainian border and another 8,951 crossings –by plane.

At the new Leova-Bumbăta border crossing point, 76 crossings of people were recorded, of which 48 crossings on the way out of the country and another 28 - on the way in.

Border inspectors recommend travelers, before setting off, to consult the Green Line of the Border Police (022 259 717) or to check online the situation at the crossing points.
