Nuggets one step closer to title
The Denver Nuggets are one win away from their first NBA title. Michael Malone's disciples beat the Miami Heat again on the road, 108-95, and lead 3-1 overall in the final series.
The hosts played better in the first quarter of the game, but then the Nuggets kind of dominated. Aaron Gordon had 27 points and Nikola Jokic 23 and the guests won comfortably and are now one win away from winning the trophy.
"We haven't achieved anything yet. I also told the guys we're not celebrating anything. It's a useful and very good win. We did our job in this game, we're just not celebrating anything. We're going home nice, but we're unplugging the TV, the radio, we're not reading the papers and listening to people praising us." Denver Nuggets coach Michael Malone said.
"We're not afraid of decisive moments. We trust each other, which is very important, especially in away games. Only by being united can we get wins, and that's exactly how we win games." Denver player Nikola Jokic said.
