CAA convenes Air Operators Certification Committee after Flyone flight cancellations
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has convened an Air Operators Certification Commission tomorrow to assess the situation and investigate the reasons for the chain of cancellations of flights operated by Flyone.
At the same time, the Civil Aviation Authority recalls that in the event of cancellation or long delay of flights, the air operator is obliged to provide all necessary assistance, including the provision of food, accommodation, re-routing and compensation according to the orthodromic distance between airports.
Many flights operated by Flyone were also cancelled today as one of the aircraft was grounded due to technical faults. Two flights on the Chisinau-Nisa-Chisinau and Chisinau-Parma-Chisinau routes, which were due to be operated yesterday, were also cancelled.
