Priorities of the bilateral agenda and directions of cooperation, discussed by Maia Sandu with the German ambassador
The priorities of the bilateral agenda and the main future cooperation directions of the Republic of Moldova and Germany were discussed by President Maia Sandu and the German ambassador in Chisinau, Margret Uebber.
The head of state emphasized that Germany is one of our strategic partners, which supports our efforts to transform the country through various projects in fields such as agriculture, green energy, defense and public order, but also in the digital sector.
Also, Maia Sandu appreciated Berlin's support for our country's European path, as well as the presence of the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, at the Summit of the European Political Community, on June 1.
We remind you that, at the end of May, the German Government announced a non-refundable assistance of almost 39 million euros for the financing of projects for the production of renewable energy and the development of energy efficiency, and at the end of last year it donated 30 cars for the Police of Border, worth about 2 million euros.
Also, for the technical modernization of the National Army, the federal government offered the Republic of Moldova 19 armored personnel carriers.
