Austria will send policemen, soldiers and experts to the Republic of Moldova as part of the EU civilian mission
Austria will send to the Republic of Moldova police officers, soldiers and experts within the partnership mission of the European Union, in order to strengthen the capacities regarding the fight against disinformation and cyber attacks. A decision to this effect was adopted by the cabinet of ministers in Vienna, writes euroactiv.de.
Thus, Austria will send a maximum of five police officers, three members of the armed forces, as well as a maximum of four experts from the Ministry of the Interior.
Also, Austria will send up to 30 members of the armed forces to provide support in the field of air transport.
We remind that the EU partnership mission in the Republic of Moldova was officially created in May and aims to contribute to strengthening the crisis management structures in our country and to increase its resilience to hybrid threats, including cyber security and combating manipulation and interference of foreign information.
