Residents of the city of Kherson, which continues to be the target of constant attacks by the Russians, have made new gruesome discoveries. Investigators found a torture chamber for children in the recently liberated city.

"For the first time, we recorded the torture of children. There are no limits to the cynicism of the Russian Federation. We thought it couldn't go any lower after Bucha, Irpin, but they reached new limits. We discovered 10 torture chambers in Kherson, and four of them are in the city itself. We found a separate cell where children were kept. The occupiers themselves called it a "cell for children", says human rights lawyer Dmitro Lubinets.

According to the lawyer, Russian security services kept children in this cell, where they were given little water and almost no food. A 14-year-old boy was arrested and then tortured just for taking a photo of the damaged Russian equipment, Lubinets said. According to the testimonies of former detainees, the children were subjected to psychological abuse by the Russians, who told them that their parents had abandoned them and that they would never return home.

Meanwhile, Russian troops are concentrating their offensive in the directions of Bahmut and Avdeevka, trying to improve the tactical situation in three other directions. The enemy carried out 31 airstrikes and eight missile strikes on civilian infrastructure in the Donetsk region, as well as 61 attacks with multiple rocket launchers. Ukrainian soldiers repelled Russian attacks in the areas of Vekhnekamensk, Iakovlevka, Soledar, Bahmut, Veseloie and Marinka in the Donetsk region.

"There is no calm on the front line. There is nothing easy and simple. Every day and every metre we travel extremely hard. And especially where the whole tactic of the occupiers boils down to destroying everything in front of them with artillery, so that only ruins and craters in the ground remain," declared Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Meanwhile, several explosions rocked a Russian airbase in Kursk last night, as well as the largest oil refinery in Angarsk, in Siberia. According to Anton Gerashchenko, an adviser to the Ukrainian president, they were allegedly hit by "unknown drones". The explosion was felt within a radius of 45 kilometres, with locals believing that an earthquake had occurred.

As a result of the explosion, two employees died and five others were injured. The fire covered an area of 2,500 square metres, being extinguished five hours after the explosion.
