Economic operators who have changed gas supplier will pay for tariff deviations
86 economic agents have chosen to change their gas supplier, migrating from the one with a tariff set by the National Agency for Energy Regulation. Of these, 32 have left permanently for the free gas supply market and 54 others have two contracts each.
Energy Minister Victor Parlivov held a meeting with contractors after the Commission for Exceptional Situations decided at the end of May that those who leave are obliged to pay the tariff deviations recorded by Moldovagaz in the context of the equity mechanism.
During the meeting, it was agreed that Moldovagaz will send on Monday to all economic agents concerned by the SSC the calculations of the single equalisation payment.
Companies that choose to leave the open market will have to pay it. One of the proposals was that this payment should be made in instalments until the end of the year, following the logic of recovering tariff deviations through regulated prices.
