Reductions and increases in fees at Chisinau International Airport

The fee for the modernization of Chisinau International Airport is halved. Instead, the service charge is increased from €6.2/passenger to €7/passenger for regular flights and €8.70 for irregular flights.

The fee for the modernization of Chisinau International Airport is halved. The Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Lilia Dabija, has signed an order to this effect.

According to the document, from 1 July 2023, the charge for advance financing of investment projects will be €4.5 per passenger compared to the current charge of €9.

After Chisinau International Airport was returned to state management, Prime Minister Dorin Recean gave assurances that this tax, which every passenger pays, will be reduced, but not cancelled.

Instead, the service charge is increased from the current level of €6.2 /passenger to €7 /passenger for regular flights and to €8.70 for irregular flights from Chisinau International Airport.
