"All the filmmakers came with love to remember us. The most important thing is that we created, we succeeded in better or worse conditions, but in the end the film was made", said the president of the Cinematographers' Union, Virgiliu Mărgineanu. The sequences from the old movies brought back memories for the veterans.

"At the "Moldova-Film" studio, the documentaries ”'Fountain and Stone'' were banned, then it was appreciated, then banned again". "I think that every film is an opportunity to look back and to look forward to how we will find cinematic expression for our attempts to remain with dignity, courage and the ability to record our modern history", says filmmaker Mihai Poiată.

The art of the film had a decisive role in the creation of the composer Eugen Doga.

"I present myself in the world specifically as a filmmaker, thanks to the film I appeared in as a composer. The film is an essential part of me", says the composer Eugen Doga.

"Too little attention is paid to this very important art", noted the filmmaker Dumitru Olărescu.

"On the 70th anniversary of the Moldova-film studio, we must find the opportunity to give a perspective for the development of cinematographic production in the Republic of Moldova based also on new cinematographic technologies", said Minister of Culture Sergiu Prodan.

"-Does cinematographic art have continuity in the Republic of Moldova? - Certainly YES, now it's flourishing in my opinion", said filmmaker Daniela Miron.

The "Moldova-Film" studio has become known throughout the world and this is largely thanks to the filmmakers of the 60s. Currently, as part of a project financed by the EU, the "Moldova-Film" Studio is digitising the films that are kept in the funds the institution.
