The strategic partnership with Romania will be discussed in Chisinau. Nicolae Ciucă and Marcel Ciolacu are coming to the Republic of Moldova
The strategic partnership with Romania regarding the European integration of the Republic of Moldova will be discussed today in Chisinau during the visit of the President of the Romanian Senate, Nicolae Ciucă, and the Prime Minister from Bucharest, Marcel Ciolacu. The Romanian officials will have meetings at the Parliament and the Government of the Republic of Moldova and will be received by the President Maia Sandu.
The agenda of the discussions also includes joint projects in the economic, infrastructure and transport fields, as well as the reform program assumed by the Chisinau authorities in the process of joining the European Union.
After the meetings, Nicolae Ciucă and Marcel Ciolacu, together with their counterparts from the Republic of Moldova, Igor Grosu and Dorin Recean, will make statements to the media.
The statements of the officials can be followed live on the social networks of the Public Broadcaster "Teleradio-Moldova". Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Luminița Odobescu, was in the Republic of Moldova, on her first visit since taking over the mandate in the recently invested Ciolacu Government in Bucharest.
The head of Romanian diplomacy declared that the relations between Romania and the Republic of Moldova are "more solid and more effective than ever. The crises caused by the war in Ukraine only strengthened the collaboration between Bucharest and Chisinau".
