Chisinau Parliament and the Romanian Senate will cooperate in the field of environmental protection
The Parliament hosts the joint meeting of the Environment, Climate and Green Transition Commission from the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and the Environment Commission from the Senate of Romania. According to a press release from the Parliament, the deputies will approve an action plan regarding cooperation in the field of environmental protection and transit to an energy system based on renewable sources.
The members of the Commission for the Environment of the Romanian Senate will pay a visit to the Călărași Silvic Enterprise. Previously, the Environment, Climate and Green Transition Commission from the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, the Environment Commission from the Romanian Senate and the Environment and Ecological Balance Commission from the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament met in Bucharest.
During the joint meeting, a joint declaration was signed between the three commissions, which provides for ensuring the transfer of expertise and harmonization of the national regulatory framework to the community acquis in the field of environment and climate change.
