A bus carrying 35 people, members of a folk ensemble, traveling to a seasonal festival, overturned during the night from Friday to Saturday, near the town of Pașcani.

25 people - 12 minors and 13 adults - needed medical care, reports Agerpres. "Forces and means of intervention from the Inspectorate intervened. Following the medical evaluation, 25 people were transported to the hospital. Two of them were taken to the Children's Hospital "St. Maria" Iasi. Out of the total number of people, 15 were between 14-17 years old," said Georgică Onofreiasa, the spokesperson of ISU Iasi. The bus left from Botoșani and was supposed to reach Ialomita.
