Commission for Emergency Situations has updated the list of persons subject to international sanctions

The list of persons subject to international sanctions has been expanded, and the financial transactions carried out by them on the territory of the Republic of Moldova will be subject to more rigorous control. The decision was approved, today, during the meeting of the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE), chaired by Prime Minister Dorin Recean.

According to the Provision, seven people previously included in the international sanctions lists of the European Union, the United States of America, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Canada and Norway on grounds such as destabilizing the internal situation in the Republic of Moldova or involvement in actions that threaten statehood and territorial integrity of Ukraine, were also included in the list of sanctions approved by the Commission for Emergency Situations.

It is about Gheorghe Cavcaliuc, Marina Tauber, Vladimir Andronachi, Veaceslav Platon, Constantin Botnari, Aleksandr Kalinin and Grigore Caramalac.

Also, during today's meeting, the members of the Commission for Emergency Situations decided to allocate over 11.3 million lei, from the Government's intervention fund, for the maintenance of temporary placement centers for refugees, established at the central and local level.
