The US State Department has approved the possibility of selling equipment to Romania to upgrade F-16 aircraft

The US State Department has approved the potential sale of equipment and services to Romania for the modernisation of 32 F-16 aircraft, Reuters reports, cited by Agerpres.

The estimated value of the sale of these equipment and services is $105 million, the Pentagon announced on Friday.

The prime contractor will be Lockheed Martin, the US Department of Defense added.
