"We will continue to call for the progressive integration of the Republic of Moldova into the single market. We will also continue to support you through our interparliamentary programmes, as we did this week in this Parliament. There is no doubt that next autumn will be crucial for the Republic of Moldova and for Europe. I hope that we will have good news at the end of the year and that accession negotiations can start", said European Parliament President Roberta Metsola.

"I can tell you with full confidence that at home, in the Republic of Moldova, we are working non-stop in all areas to achieve those nine recommendations of the European Commission. The implementation of the recommendations goes hand in hand with a reform process that we have launched, from resetting the justice system, diversifying energy sources to large urban and rural infrastructure projects", assured Igor Grosu, President of the Moldovan Parliament.
