Reduced electricity tariffs come into force

The new electricity tariffs entered into force today after the decisions of the National Energy Regulatory Agency regarding price adjustments were published in the Official Gazette.

Household consumers connected to CT IN Premier Energy will pay two lei and 57 bani for one kilowatt, 42 bani less than the previous one. And in the north of the country, the tariff for electricity provided by FEE Nord will cost three lei and 20 bani, 38 bani less than it was before.

The energy regulator explained, recently, that among the factors that led to the reduction of the tariff is the decrease in the price of energy procurement by about 20 percent, but also the decrease in costs for the power distribution.
