Border Police banned 19 people from entering the Republic of Moldova

The General Inspectorate of the Border Police announces that on July 10, it refused entry to the Republic of Moldova for 19 people. In all, the flow of travelers at the state border constituted 60,492 crossings, a larger number being recorded on the way of entering the Republic of Moldova - 33,533 crossings.

The most requested crossing points were those at the border with Romania, with 35,809 crossings recorded, 13,800 crossings were reported at the Moldovan-Ukrainian border and another 10,883 crossings - at the air border.

"With reference to the crossing of the border by citizens of Ukraine, a total number of 15,034 crossings were recorded, of which 7,205 were in the direction of entry into Moldova. At the same time, 3,047 were the crossings of Ukrainian minors", the statement of the Border Police states.

The border inspectors recommend travelers to consult the Green Line of the Border Police (022 259 717) or check the situation at the crossing points online (http://border.gov.md/camere-web) before setting off.
