Parliament will examine two candidacies for the position of People's Advocate for children's rights
Two candidacies will be proposed to the Parliament for the appointment to the position of People's Advocate for the rights of the child. It is about Tamara Tentiuc and Vasile Coroi.
At the interview stage, organized by the Special Commission for the selection of candidates, Tamara Tentiuc and Vasile Coroi got the highest score.
In all, five people were admitted to the interview stage.
According to the legislation, the People's Advocate for children's rights is appointed to the position with the vote of the majority of the elected deputies, for a term of seven years, which cannot be renewed.
The competition for the selection of candidates was launched after the mandate of Maia Bănărescu expired.
