Russian Embassy in Chisinau reacts to the SIS announcement about the destruction of an espionage network led by the FSB
The Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova came up with a reaction after the Intelligence and Security Service announced the destruction of a Kremlin espionage network in our country. The press release states that Russia respects the sovereignty of other states and does not interfere in internal affairs.
The embassy also said that the accusations brought to Moscow regarding the attempts to destabilize and to influence the internal political processes have already become a kind of calling card of the anti-Russian policy coordinated by the West.
We remind you that, yesterday, the SIS announced that it had exposed a Russian agency network operating on the territory of our country. The coordinators of the group are two Russian citizens, FSB agents, accused of plotting against the Republic of Moldova. According to investigative journalists, it would be Iuri Gudilin and Vadim Iurcenko, close associates of former president Igor Dodon.
