Dorin Recean: Three ministers resigned

Prime Minister Dorin Recean announced during a briefing that three ministers resigned yesterday. It is about the Minister of Education, Anatolie Topală, the Minister of the Interior, Ana Revenco and the Minister of Infrastructure, Lilia Dabija.

Prime Minister Dorin Recean thanked the Minister of Education, noting that the university reform, designed and implemented by him, is starting to bring results. "It was a complex process, it is a very important process and Minister Topală provided all the necessary resources and framework for this reform to be successful. At the same time, I want to thank Mr. Topală for the fact that he negotiated for the Republic of Moldova the participation in the EU research and development fund "Horizon Europe" and in this sense I am proud of the fact that the European Commission gave him a very high rating" , said the prime minister.

Dorin Recean also appreciated the work of the Minister of the Interior, Ana Revenco, emphasizing that she had a great contribution in managing the refugee crisis. "Ana Revenco laid the foundations for the necessary transformations for MAI and ensured that the ministry will have the necessary resources so that we can make a qualitative leap in terms of public service and the integration of all subunits within the ministry," said the prime minister.

At the same time, mentioned Dorin Recean, the Minister of Infrastructure, Lilia Dabija, ensured the construction of over 300 km of roads.

"This effort was very important to all of us. More than that, through complex and effective negotiations, Ms. Dabija ensured that today we are part of the European connectivity mechanism", said Dorin Recean.

The Prime Minister mentioned that on Monday he will propose to President Maia Sandu the list of new ministers for these portfolios.
