An 87-year-old woman was rescued from a well, after a time-trial mission by firefighters. The incident happened yesterday in Rublenita village, Soroca district.

According to the information received by the 112 service, an elderly woman fell into a well. A team of rescuers arrived at the scene in a short time, and determined that the woman was at a depth of about 8 meters. IGSU employees, using specialized equipment, managed to bring the victim to the surface.

The woman, in a conscious state, was taken by a team of doctors to the district hospital for further medical care. The circumstances of the case are to be determined. According to the IGSU, since the beginning of 2023, four people have been rescued from the wells.
