UN - Situation in Ukraine debated in General Assembly and Security Council
The UN Security Council and the UN General Assembly will hold a meeting on the situation in Ukraine, RBC reports.
On 17 July, the UN Security Council will hold a ministerial-level meeting on "Maintaining peace and security in Ukraine". The following day, an open debate of the General Assembly will take place: "Situation in the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine".
At both events, officials from several countries as well as a Ukrainian delegation will be present. In particular, British Foreign Minister James Cleverly, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna and German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock are expected to attend. The Security Council meeting on 17 July will start at 22:00 (Chisinau time) and the debate in the General Assembly on 18 July will start at 17:00.
