After the European Union imposed stricter rules on honey imports, Chisinau government amended the legislation so that beekeeping products meet the standards for labelling and processing of the product. Annually, our country produces approximately five thousand tons of honey, and 80% of this is exported, mostly to the EU.

Residents of Edineț and Cupcini will gain access to drinking water through EU-supported project

Around 26,000 residents of the municipality of Edineț and the town of Cupcini will soon have access to clean drinking water after enduring years of muddy or rusty water from their taps. Construction of a new water station has already begun, with EU support. Project managers aim to complete the work by the end of this year.
