Olesea Stamate: The performance of ministers must be subject to a clear evaluation mechanism
The performance and activity of the ministers must be subject to a clear evaluation mechanism, argues the president of the Legal, Appointments and Immunities Committee of the Parliament, Olesea Stamate. The statement was made on a show on Exclusiv TV, after reshuffles were made in the Recean Government, and this fact sparked several discussions in society.
According to the PAS deputy, Olesea Stamate, if the ministers do not meet their objectives, resignations will follow. "I believe that we must have a clear mechanism for evaluating the performance of the Government and of each individual minister. Each minister, at the moment he assumes the position of minister, must come up with certain objectives or discuss these objectives with the Government leadership. Accordingly, in a certain period, the achievement of these objectives should be evaluated and if the objectives are not met and the reasons are not exactly justified, then certain decisions are taken. I think we need to discuss performance, if that is the case, then obviously there will be certain changes", declared Olesea Stamate.
We remind you that at the beginning of the week, three new ministers took the oath of office, after the Minister of Education and Research, Anatolie Topală, the Minister of the Interior, Ana Revenco, and the head of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Lilia Dabija, announced their resignation.
The portfolios from the three institutions within the Executive were taken over by Dan Perciun, Adrian Efros and Andrei Spînu.
