State of emergency has entered into force throughout the country
The state of emergency entered into force throughout the country starting with today, a period extended by the Parliament, in the context of the war in Ukraine. This will be valid for another 60 days. The decision was approved by the parliamentary majority, at the last plenary session of the spring-summer session.
The extension of the state of emergency was determined by Russia's drone and cruise missile attacks on port areas of the Black Sea and the Danube, near the border of the Republic of Moldova, which created a serious security situation, Prime Minister Dorin Recean said , from the rostrum of the Parliament.
We remind you that the state of emergency in the Republic of Moldova was established on February 24, 2022, with the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. Later, it was extended several times.
