Border Police: 39 persons were refused entry to Moldova

The General Inspectorate of Border Police announces that 39 persons were refused entry into the Republic of Moldova on 4 August. In total, 72,237 persons crossed the borders of the Republic of Moldova. Of these, 36,136 entered our country.

More foreign citizens crossed the border - 42,376, while Moldovan citizens crossed 29,861.

"With reference to border crossings by Ukrainian citizens, a total number of 15,550 crossings was recorded, of which 8,117 on the way into Moldova. At the same time, the number of Ukrainian minors was 3,028," the Border Police said.

The most "active" border was with Romania where 37,498 crossings were recorded, at the Moldovan-Ukrainian border there were 16,950 crossings and another 10,649 crossings at the air border.
