Maia Sandu called home the Moldovan graduates of universities abroad
The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, welcomed the young people gathered at the Gala of students originating from the Republic of Moldova, an event that celebrates Moldovan graduates of universities abroad.
Maia Sandu urged the young people who graduated from universities abroad to, after graduation, look for opportunities for professional development at home. "We invited our graduates to look for opportunities for employment and professional development in Moldova, using internships, business financing programs or job offers in the country - as other young people, today parliamentarians, did a few years ago ministers or successful entrepreneurs", said the head of state during the Gala of students originating from the Republic of Moldova.
The president also said that the opportunities for young people will increase with the advancement on the path of European integration, and we now have the opportunity to contribute to the change for the better in our country.
"We invite you to focus your attention on the opportunities, not on the difficulties here at home," Maia Sandu also said.
