The Minister of National Defense of Romania is on an official visit to Chisinau
The Minister of National Defense of Romania, Angel Tîlvăr, is on an official visit to Chisinau, where he will meet with his counterpart Anatolie Nosatîi. The information was confirmed for Radio Moldova by the press officer of the Ministry of Defense, Ala Diaconu.
The agenda of the discussions includes aspects regarding bilateral cooperation in the field of defense, but also about the challenges generated by Russia's aggression in Ukraine. For now, the institution has not announced whether officials will make press statements.
We remind that, since the beginning of this year, the heads of Defense from the Republic of Moldova and Romania had several meetings in Chisinau and Bucharest. Angel Tîlvăr previously stated that the Romanian authorities are with the Republic of Moldova in the process of reforming the National Army and increasing resilience and defense. According to him, our country is a strategic priority for Romania.
