A foreign citizen tried to illegally withdraw 27 thousand US dollars from the Republic of Moldova
The border police, in cooperation with the customs officials, found undeclared money in the luggage of a non-resident passenger on the Chisinau - Sharm el Sheikh flight. The incident was recorded on Monday, August 7, at Chisinau International Airport.
During the specialized control, the passenger communicated that she had nothing to declare, but the control team found 27 thousand US dollars in her personal luggage, undeclared to the customs body.
The money was recovered, and the case is being investigated by the employees of the Customs Service.
