Energocom repays the second tranche of the EBRD loan in advance
Energocom informs that it has repaid in advance the second tranche worth 200 million euros of the loan contracted from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
In a press release, the institution specifies that the loan worth 300 million euros, contracted for the realization of the "Security of natural gas supply" Project, was used between October 17, 2022 and January 10, 2022 for the diversification of natural gas procurement sources and the creation of strategic stocks.
According to Energocom, for the project implemention, 130 rounds of tenders were held, during which more than 300 million m3 of gas were purchased. The loan can be used, if necessary, for a period of three years.
