Three people were killed and nine others injured in an attack on Zaporozhye, targeting residential neighbourhoods and civilian infrastructure. The Russians also struck an oil depot in the Rivne region with drones, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry said.

"At night, the Rivne region was subjected to a massive drone attack. Unfortunately, a fuel depot near Dubno was destroyed. There were no casualties as a result of the attack. Forty-five rescuers and 14 teams are working on the scene. Fire crews have intervened. Relevant investigation commissions, led by heads of law enforcement agencies in the region, are also working. The level of chemical and radiation substances is within the norm," said Vitaly Koval, head of the Rivne Region Military Administration.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defence Ministry said it had shot down 13 drones, 11 of them near Crimea and two flying towards Moscow, following several similar attacks in recent days.

At the same time, Germany announced that it would provide Kiev with two more Patriot missile batteries, anti-aircraft systems that are particularly valuable to Ukraine because they have already intercepted Russian hypersonic missiles several times.

"Fulfilling the agreement will certainly save thousands of lives of our people. It will certainly bring us closer to creating a full air shield for Ukraine. This will help people, towns and villages," said Volodimir Zelenski, President of Ukraine.

The new deliveries from Germany also include ten multi-purpose tracked vehicles, six trucks with high-capacity semi-trailers and about 6 thousand rounds of smoke ammunition for artillery. Germany has also supplied machine guns, military goggles, binoculars and de-mining equipment. At the same time, US President Joe Biden plans to ask Congress for more than $10bn in additional aid for Ukraine.

At the same time, Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov presented the armoured Senator vehicles donated to Ukraine by Canada and thanked the Canadian people for them. The armoured vehicles can be used for various tasks, including transporting personnel and evacuating the wounded. They can also be equipped with weapons.
