The United States promises financial assistance to Ukraine's neighbors to facilitate grain transit
The United States of America has promised financial assistance to Ukraine's neighbors, to purchase vessels such as pilot boats and to facilitate the transshipment and cross-border transit of grain from Ukraine, writes Agerpres.ro.
According to the cited source, several countries will benefit from this assistance, including the Republic of Moldova. Thus, the representatives of the United States of America joined the Romanian, Ukrainian, Moldovan and European Union officials to support the export of Ukrainian grains.
The United States will also help modernize infrastructure for rail and road transportation and transshipment, expand access to parts for train cars and rail assembly lines, and support the private sector along the Danube in increasing export capacity. To further support regional efforts, the United States has pledged financial assistance to Ukraine's neighbors to acquire vessels such as pilot boats and to facilitate cross-border transshipment and transit.
