Drone attack in Moscow: Building under construction damaged, no casualties reported (Hotnews.ro)

Russian air defence shot down two drones in Moscow and the region targeted in a sixth consecutive day of attacks, the capital's mayor said Wednesday morning.

Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Telegram that the air defence shot down a drone in the Mojaiskii district of the Moscow region and another drone that hit a building under construction in Moscow.

According to preliminary information, the attack caused no casualties.

RIA Novosti news agency had earlier reported that an explosion was heard in the business district of the Russian capital. "A building under construction in the city of Moscow suffered light damage," TASS reported, citing emergency services.

Russian territory is currently targeted almost daily by drone attacks.
